My Philips Avent storage cups were out of shape after sterilising. I think it was because my husband had placed the cups on its side instead of putting them straight. are the out of shape cups still safe to use or I have to discard them?

I've read reviews about the cups being misshapen and damaged due to heat and sterilizing. Alot of the moms choose to discard the cups just to be safe.
