Menstrual cramps

Hi, my period just came back 2 months ago. Gave birth August 2022. The cramps I’m getting is out of world. So painful that i cannot even function normally. I’ve never encountered such painful cramps ever. Painkillers does not work at all! Anyone experienced the same? Should I book an appointment to see my gynae?

it’s normal because it’s the first period after so long.. the frequency and duration may even be weird. it’ll get better after few cycles.
