I haven't been through this personally, but I know it's such a big decision for parents. Since there aren't replies here yet, it might be worth posting in the KKH or child development Facebook groups where more parents with experience might see it, or asking your PD for a referral to someone who's done the journey and can walk you through what to expect step by step.
