Hi parents, please share when did ur LO started TV time and what's the duration like? My LO is going 8 months. We started introducing TV time as early as 4/5 months... I'm not sure if it's appropriate? TIA!

My boy dun really watch the tv until around 7-8months when curiosity kicks in. Automatically been attracted by the graphics, sound from the TV. But I will make sure he sits at least 1.5 to 2m away from the tv, And also make sure the brightness of the tv is not too bright & of Coz Not too Dim. We will set a routine for him making sure he is not glued to the tv. Despite having the tv switched on, my boy will still go to bed on Time every night as that's his standard routine. But of Coz I will lower down the volume while he sleeps. The vision of a 4/5months baby is still not clear hence to them what they visualise are blurred. My personal view, not to let them watch the tv at such a young age of 4-5months as its not good for their eyes.
