Ay sis, napakahirap talaga ng situation na yan, I can feel how torn you are, kaya naman super important na kayo ni LIP talaga ay mag-usap nang malinaw about priorities, hindi lang financially pero emotionally din para sa baby.
Honest lang, sending your 1-year-old to the province para lang sa childcare while both kayo mag-work, especially kung hindi ka confident sa parenting style ni LIP, parang stress lang yan na mag-aaccumulate pa lalo, at yan ay aside na sa guilt of being separated from your baby. A few of my mum friends tried similar setups at ang sabi nila, mas nagsuffer yung marriage at ang peace of mind nila dahil sa worry, kaya sa huli bumalik sila sa single-income setup or nag-adjust ng schedule.
Given na ang work mo is graveyard at temporary WFH pa lang, baka best move is you continue muna para sa stable income, pero i-stagger ang sched ni LIP if possible, like pwede ba siyang mag-swing shift or flexible schedule after training para siya na muna main caregiver, then you take over nights? Yan ang nakita ko work best sa friends ko, staggered schedules instead of both working simultaneously. At sis, the debt issue niya, I'm not saying this lightly ah, pero if he's not managing finances responsibly (utang + anxiety reliance), both kayo working won't solve that; dapat yan ma-address nyo talaga as a couple first.
I think you need a real sit-down convo with him about what matters most right now, baby's stability, your wellbeing, or chasing two incomes na parang hindi pa rin enough. Maybe consider consulting with a family counselor din, pang-guide sa tricky conversations?
