It’s not advisable but admittedly, my LO could only sleep on either my lap or in the rocker at night at that age. So for 3 weeks, during the day, I watched her like a hawk, and at night, I slept on the sofa beside the rocker. Then I gradually did sleep training in her cot (was a nightmare, waking up every 15 minutes) and now, she sleeps well in the cot. If you can, and you have the energy to do so, try doing sleep training in the cot. Because once baby starts rolling, the rocker becomes extremely dangerous. My LO started rolling earlier than expected, so I was racing against time to sleep train her in the cot.
