Actually, after reading ur replies to the comments here. I can conclude that ur child is just being normal. There is no such thing as attention span in a 18 month old! Separation anxiety anot has got to do w personality and if child is the go ifc or like playing a lot, normal to have no separation anxiety. Children naturally want to move and touch and see and explore and have no sense of stranger most of the time as long as they are comfortable. I think u should just be normal and continue playing with ur child and explore with ur child what are the things that interest her. No 1 rules to steer them off gadget and give them other educational tools for them to play with and being entertained on. I have gotten the gadgets off and i could see that my child’s attention has improved alot and even the teacher’s give good comments.

What other symptoms u observed that makes u feel that your LO is not normal ? When u say no attention span means there is no activity that your LO is keen to sit down and engage in?
18 month old usually have little or no attention span. I think it's normal. But if you are concern you can take him to the doctors and hear what they say after examinating.
you can call the main line first. or bring to polyclinic to get a referral. So it will be under subsidies. But usually may have to wait for awhile
That's for autism if ADD or ADHD can have eye contact.
