Dark tummy after giving birth

Yes it is very normal, I had the same thing after my c-sect and was quite worried at first too. That darkening around the belly button area is usually from the hormonal changes during pregnancy, and for me it did fade over time but honestly it took longer than I expected, like almost a year. I will say it did not completely disappear for me, just became less obvious, so I want to be realistic with you rather than just say "sure it will go away fully." Give it time and stay patient lah, your body just went through a lot.
