It’s completely normal for babies to get fussy, even when they’re not sick. I remember when my little one was around three months old; he had his cranky moments too. Often, I found it was just because the room was too warm or he was swaddled a bit too tightly. I used to think, “What’s bothering my baby?” So now, I always check the room temperature first. Have you gone through something similar with your little one?

Oh! Mainit ang ulo ni baby pero ang katawan hindi din ang nangyari sa amin. Nang una, nag-panic ako kasi akala ko fever na, pero nang tanungin ko ang pediatrician namin, sabi niya normal lang yun. Ang ulo ng mga baby ay may mas maraming blood flow kaya minsan mainit siya kahit normal ang temperature. Kaya don’t stress too much! Basta’t okay naman ang behavior ni baby at normal ang temperature, okay lang.

Ganyan din sa anak ko. Mainit ang ulo ni baby pero ang katawan hindi ang nararamdaman ko noon. Sabi ng doktor ko, natural lang na mas mainit ang ulo ng baby dahil sa heat loss at gain. Mas nararamdaman ko ito kapag natutulog siya o pagkatapos maglaro. Siguraduhin mo lang na okay ang feeding at behavior niya, at kung walang fever o ibang symptoms, okay lang yun.

Sa twins ko, mainit ang ulo ni baby pero ang katawan hindi rin ang nangyari. Karaniwan nang mainit ang ulo nila pagkatapos maglaro o umiiyak. Hindi mo kailangan mag-alala kung walang ibang sintomas tulad ng fever o kung hindi nagiging fussy. Basta’t check mo rin ang temperature nila. Kung mag-aalala ka pa rin, magandang ideya na mag-consult sa pediatrician.

Hi ma, totally normal po, especially if there’s no fever. Babies can get hot-headed pretty quickly — literally! From my experience po with kids, this usually happens when they’re really active or after they’ve been crying. Their little heads tend to heat up, especially when they’re playing or upset, but that doesn’t always mean they’re sick. :)

To be safe po mama, always check your baby’s temperature with a thermometer. Even if their head feels warm, it should be below 37.5°C. Sometimes they might just be overdressed or the room could be too warm. When I notice my baby feeling hot, I usually take off the diaper or turn on the fan and just observe for a bit po. Trust your instincts mommy! :)

Mommy naexperience ko rin yan before and tumawag agad ako sa pedia and nagtanong kung bakit mainit ang ulo ng baby. Sabi niya na it can happen lalo kapag mainit ang panahon dahil mainit pa ang suot ni baby. Pero sabi niya if ever na maobserve na may discomfort na nararamdaman si baby, it is best na macheck siya agad.

Opo, I can definitely relate! I often found myself asking, “Why is my baby so cranky?” even without other symptoms. It usually turned out to be teething, which can really affect their mood. I always looked for signs of discomfort, like irritability. How do you check in with your little one when they seem off?

It’s actually pretty normal for a baby’s head to feel warm sometimes mommy. :) If your little one is happy and still playing, it should fine po. But if they seem lethargic, aren’t eating, or are crying a lot, it’s a good idea to give your pediatrician a call na po mommy. Trust your instincts! :)

Napatanong din ako dati kung bakit mainit ang ulo ng baby ngunit wala namang sakit. Nagworry ako lalo first time mom ako. Pinacheck up ko siya agad and sinabi ng doctor na normal lang daw yun. Kapag mainit or di kaya makapal ang damit ni baby, sa ulo minsan nailalabas ang init ng kanyang katawan
