Being emotional after birth

Is it normal to be emotional after birth? Ever since birth, when I watch any tragedy movie or drama that relates to life and death of family member will make me wanted to cry or emotional. I will keep think back the scene when I give birth to my baby. God bless she is alright. But to my symptom Is it normal?
