Baby Care

When do I start introducing the pacifier to my newborn who is breastfeeding exclusively?

Newborn is 13 days old. Have read a few articles here and there. Some would say it’s okay to introduce since birth. Others- wait until 3 weeks or even 1 month. My only concern is nipple confusion. & of course I want the best for my baby. Although she already have issues turning in at night unless comfort latched- which I don’t mind.

No need to offer if there’s no need? I started giving pacifier to my baby when she had colic, to soothe her to sleep so we could all regain sanity.

None of mine was introduced the pacifier and all doing super well till tdy. I hv 3. My advice, don’t even bother introducing the pacifier at all. 😊
