Feeding newborn

My newborn (10 days old) only feeds average of 3.5 to 4 hours. This makes the number of feeds to an average of only 6. Does this cause my milk supply to be low because of the longer intervals or will her growth be affected because of the lesser number of feeds in 24 hours? (Not 8-12feeds as recommended)

You can pump/hand express after latching (10mins-15mins is good enough), that way you won’t have to drag session, which also will help signal your body that baby needs more milk. I doubt it will affect her growth but you can try to shorten her feeds intervals by dream feeding.
