37 weeks 4 days, first time mom

Need help and advise po... 37 weeks and 4days nako, kanina pa humihilab tiyan ko tapos sobrang galaw ng galaw si baby, hindi tuloy ako makatulog... Wala naman akong kakaibang kinain, pero sobrang active ko kasi the past few days. Tapos may parang tumutusok na din sa pwerta ko, pero di pa naman masakit likod ko or sadyang mataas lang kasi pain tolerance ko. Wala din mucus plug, normal discharge lang... Sign of labor na po ba to??? Sa Wed pa kasi ako babalik sa OB ko for IE and delivery plan. Hindi pa ko nakaayos ng hospital bag, inuna ko kasi mga gamit niya. Makipag-cooperate naman sana si baby huhu #labor #firsttimemom

Ah mama, yan ang excitement and nervousness combo talaga ng first time! Sounds like Braxton-Hicks plus the baby settling lower lang, especially if sobrang active ka the past few days, sometimes that triggers the practice contractions, kaya ang hirap matulog huhu. A few of us went through the same thing around 37-38 weeks, and honestly, walang mucus plug, normal discharge, and no back pain is a good sign na hindi pa active labor; true labor contractions usually get more intense and regular, hindi lang random hilab. But since you're already at 37+ weeks and having these symptoms, definitely worth mentioning to your OB on Wed para ma-check properly during the IE, she'll know exactly what's happening. In the meantime, try to rest when you can and prep that hospital bag na para peace of mind lang, kasi at least ready ka na if baby decides to come early!
