Is it necessary to send my child to pre-school at 2-3yo? If not is there any disadvantages? Like hard to catch up the syllabus compare to others. Thinking to send her directly to K1.

Actually if you have arrange learning activities for your child like daily reading sessions, colouring sessions, fine motor skills activities (playdough, pasting, picking/scooping pom pom), sing along session & of course bring your child to socialise with similar age kids. It's actually as good as attending pre school. I believe 2-3years old should learn through play & enjoy the process of learning. However, attending a pre school is good too if you are clueless on what to guide your child & do not have enough opportunities for your child to socialise
