Philhealth benefits

Hindi ako personally nag-experience nito, pero a few of my mum friends were worried about the same thing kasi gusto nila ng CS for convenience lang, at ang takot nila ay baka hindi covered ng Philhealth, from what I've gathered from other moms, Philhealth usually covers CS only if may medical indication, so kung purely elective choice mo lang talaga, may chance na di sila mag-cover ng full amount, and ikaw na ang bahala sa extra costs. Best advice ko is directly contact your Philhealth branch or ask your OB kung alam nila ang exact coverage para sa elective CS sa inyo, kasi bawat case talaga medyo different at mas maayos na maalam mo in advance para hindi ka na-shock sa billing hehe!
