Is it a must to take dydrogesterone throughout the pregnancy?

Itll be prescribed according to gynae. For me i had to take for 2 weeks. Depending on your pregnancy, gynae will prescribe and advise accordingly

hello, this med is only prescribed if you have bleeding or spotting. u dun have to take this if you are not :)

alternatively ur gynae will prescribe this med if your progesterone hormone level is low in early pregnancy. once the lvl has reached the safe range, your gynae will advise u to stop the med. usually by week 8 the gyane shld be able to see the fetus with heart beat. once stable, there is no need for hormone check and u can stop the med too
