I believe it is a relatively new recommendation for pregnant mums. However as it does confer passive immunity to baby, good to have as it would help baby. Newborn immunity is all from mummy, and it is estimately to protect bb for about first 6 months of life before his own immune system develops.

I did coz my Gynae strongly recommended it. You can get more info about whooping cough vaccination from singhealth which it also strongly recommended pregnant ladies to take up the vaccination. https://www.singhealth.com.sg/news/medical-news-singhealth/vaccination-in-pregnancy

Yes, strongly recommended. Helps protect baby for the first few weeks/months after she's born, before she can be given her own whooping cough vaccine

yes i took it. i guess it doesn't really matter but why not? since it can be paid by medisave

Super Mum

I did, since gynae recommended.. as it will also be passed to baby’s immunity.

If it means you can prevent your future baby from suffering then why not?

Yes taken. Can help baby to prevent the illness during the infancy stage

Nope. Never took the vaccine before. Didn't think it's important. Haha.
