Week 14 and increasingly tense pregnancy bump

Mums - this is my 1st pregnancy. I am skinny (lose weight due to morning sickness). Recently my pregnancy bump is increasingly tense causing discomfort. Is this a normal symptom? I thought the bump won’t show until 20 weeks?

If you’re skinny, your bump may definitely be obvious at 14 weeks, and the tension is because there’s a lot of stretching of the skin to do in order to accomodate the growing womb. You may want to start applying the stretch mark creams now, to help with the skin elasticity
