Mummys what is the suitable age for piercing daughters ears?

I wish I could do that to my 3 and a half year old daughter. A lot of people do it at infancy as they say that the child suffers lesser pain. But I just cant get around to putting her under legacy traditions. Maybe she will grow up to decide for herself if she wants it.....I still cant decide ...lol

As early as possible. It's easier to me. That's just my own opinion. Otherwise maybe when they are older once they can decide for themselves
