I bought it after labour when my lactation consultant measured the nipple size for me so I can get the correct flanges. However, I have one (not so good) pump on standby while waiting for the hospital grade pump to arrive. Personally would suggest not to get it a few weeks after labour as your milk might kick start a few days after labour. By pumping/latching would encourage your breast to produce more milk and prevent engorgement. I am currently using spectra S1+. It may be bulking but it works well for me 😁 just that it’s not suitable for office use unless you don’t have to carry around like you drives or leave it in office then it’s fine.

Spectra s1+ for home usage. It’s hospital grade pump. For wearable pump for pumping outside or when back at work, I use spectra wearable : https://s.shopee.sg/7zuo06JiCc This spectra wearable gives me the same yield as my spectra s1+. Convenient as well as its usb-c chargeable. But do take note for the wearable, you need to get flange insert if your size is smaller than 24/28mm.

I prepared a week before EDD then flange inserts I order when I’m in hospital (LC measured for me). I used babyexpress befree and bemine but I befree yields better for me.

I bought mine during the third trimester. I used Lacte breast pump for 6years, now I use Medela. both products are good.
