Cystic Spaces In Fetal Brain

Hi Mummies, I'm at my 15th week & had my follow up scan recently. Dr saw cystic spaces in fetal brain. Dr has arranged for an early fetal anomaly scan and advised nothing to worry about for now as baby development is normal and I have not had any complicated issues during my pregnancy. However would like to know if it something worrying? Any Mummies experience this before? Would love to hear some advice. Thank you!

The fetal brain may create these cysts as a normal part of development. They are temporary and usually are gone by the 32nd week of pregnancy. It only has adverse outcome in about 1-2% of pregnancy, and a lot depends on moms age. How old are you?
