If you require seat in public transport, do ask for it. Dont be afraid. Alternatively, I came across a post of a mummy who requested for a special tag for pregnant/priority seat tag which you can get at mrt station. You can also start wearing clothes that's flaunt your beautiful bump so people can give you seat. It doesn't matter if they throw you question like "are you pregnant?" just proudly say yes and you will be happy to have the seat. Priority and safety of you as well as baby is important.

Thanks Jess for the tagged article. Hope it helps you in days to come ❤️

Hello, just push out your belly more in front of priority seat and rub your belly to be seen. I wasn’t offered any seat in the beginning of my pregnancy either but we must do what we can to protect our little ones. And sometimes people don’t want to offend you by offering the seat coz you might be just fat and not pregnant. I do have this dilemma often with plus size people.

The only time someone offered me a seat was because I was holding onto my tummy (the entire time) for fear that people would knock into me on the train. But at the same time, it’s true, even though I do the same action all the time (cause the train is always very packed), this was the only one time that a seat was offered.

Pls go for a check up and inform the Doctor that u fell as u are still in your 1st trimester. I was 6mths pregnant wearing maternity uniform as well but no one gave up their seats for me in the train. All oblivious to their surroundings and either playing with phones or pretending to sleep. 😒😒

Yup I have to agree that not alot of people would give up seats as some of them are worried they give up seat to someone who is not pregnant and just happen to have a bigger tummy. Worst still sometimes I get those very scary aunties that would push me to board the bus or train first..

sadly nowadays ppl will rarely gv up their seats to ppl who needs it more so i cn totally relate. my entire pregnancy, noone could tell i was pregnant bc i was plus sized. i get dirty looks when i sat at priority seats too but well.. i need to put myself first 😬

i tried to leave house earlier to avoid super peak period so that i can have a seat. Cos my 1st pregnancy i got threatened miscarriage when bus break suddenly & i didn't fell but the sudden movement of holding on tight to the pole might have caused it.

no one gave up their seat thru out my whole pregnancy. cause maybe my baby bump isnt that big and people might think im just bloated.. but try rubbing or holding your bump when you ask for th seat.. you deserve th seat mummy!! safety first!

Yes sadly, even though I wear clothes that shows my bump, some ppl still can pretend to use their phone and ignore, you have to be thick skin abit to ask for the seat yourself.

Awww i tot i am alone. Last year i was pregnant . When i entered the train no one at all give up seat i stand near the door
