Managing 2 kids 3 yrs apart without helper

Hi Mummies, wondering if it if possible for full time working parents to manage new born and a 3 yrs old toddler without helpers? Have anyone been through this and able to share your experience on how to manage daily especially at night time?

might be very tiring for both of you as it is challenging handling a newborn.Any help from parents or in-laws?if 3 yr old toddler is already attending preschool it might be more manageable.
