How to get Hospital Leave

Hi mummies ! Wonder if some of you have requested for a Hospital Leave before? And will your gynae give it to you ? Im currently in week 31 and my work is a 12hrs shift. My legs has started to get swollen too and my backache is terrible. Thought of getting HL in mid Aug but i know some gynae especially under subsidised route wont give to you :(

Private gynaes wld be more open to give HL. My colleague who's with KKH private only managed to get HL at 36th wk while I was at Parkway got HL frm 32nd week onwards. Both my colleague and I have asthma but somehow her KKH gynae cldn't give her earlier.

Ya private gynaes more open to hl i heard. My gynae could tell i didnt wanna waste my hl if i can. But i was give hl previously in my 2nd tri due to low fluid

My gynae gives HL whenever I request or he feels I need it. I am not under subsidy though.
