my wife 9th month pregnant and sugar is 150+

Hi all mummies, my wife is 9month pregnant now.. and her sugar level is fluctuating between 120 and 160. Is this normal in this time. Doctor prescribed to take Glycomet-250MG. But we feel like after taking this tablet only count got increased. Anyone suggest 29 of May is due date. Previously it was like, 120-140. But it's now 160 at night times one hour after dinner
