For me, as long as it hits 37.6 I will give once (strictly once) because once it goes higher, it will be harder to subside. Then spam fever patches on forehead, back, chest and neck, sponge if required. So far it works for my baby and it usually goes down quite quickly as long as I feed her before it hits 38, usually subsides within the next 30mins - 1 hr. There was once I didn’t realize she had fever and it went up to 38.2, it took a few hours on off to subside. Anyways she’s 2 now and I have been doing this since 5mo (she had covid back then).
