No ovulation after giving birth

Hi mummies, just want to know, anyone did not ovulate for few months/cycles after giving birth and not breastfeeding? #firsttimemom

My period took a while to regulate after I stopped breastfeeding too, so it is not that unusual honestly. Some months my cycle came but I was not sure if I actually ovulated or not, and my gynae said the body just needs time to find its rhythm again. It could take a few cycles for things to settle, but if you are concerned or it has been quite a few months, it is worth checking in with your gynae or even the polyclinic just to get a clearer picture.
