Can use ML as notice period?

Hi mummies. Just want to check if I can use ML as my notice period? I shared 4 weeks with husband and left with 12 weeks. I thought of resigning during my 1st month of ML as I have to serve 2 months notice. So can i use the balance 8 weeks as my notice period? #pleasehelp #advicepls
