Alternative for cough remedy

Hi Mummies, are there any hot drinks that help with cough and flu? I've been having chesty cough and my hot drink is limited to only hot water (fear if tea has caffeine in it and some teas make me nauseous). TIA #pleasehelp #advicepls

You can have Prospan Cough Syrup (Ivy leave extract). Tea can drink minimal not much as goes with coffee. Though I know some gynae/doctor will be 50/50 with a yes/no with patients.
