ALT Reading.

Question

Hello mummies TAP. Ada tak mummies yang anak-anak bacaan ALT tinggi? Bole tak kita share pengalaman mummies kat sini, macam mana mummies boleh turunkan reading ALT tu? Baby saya pula dah nak 4 bulan tapi ALT masi tinggi. Kadang risau juga kalau ingat-ingat kat reading ALT tu. Mummies ada pengalaman jadi macam ni kat baby ke?  Mcm mana mummies handle ye? #pleasehelp #sharing

Aww I understand your worry, ALT readings can be stressful especially bila baby baru lagi! A few of my mum friends went through this with their little ones, some ALT took a while to normalise, tapi most eventually came down on their own dengan proper monitoring. Since baby is almost 4 months, I'd really encourage you to follow up closely with your paediatrician kang, sebab they can advise best on what's causing it and whether any changes are needed, bukan something to handle sendiri at home je. The stress of waiting is real, but babies' bodies do change quite a bit in those early months, so don't lose hope! Has your doctor given you a follow-up plan or timeline to recheck the levels?
