Super Mum

Hey mama! You could get your pump after as milk would only come on 3-5 days later depending on delivery of baby as well. The first few days, baby will be receiving colostrum which you can read more about here: https://kellymom.com/ages/newborn/when-will-my-milk-come-in/ While buying later works for some, others find being prepared before baby arrives helps as you may be kept busy with the new baby or due to confinement, you may not be able to go out and purchase one. In terms of flange size, you can use this as a guide: https://www.medela.us/breastfeeding/articles/breast-shield-sizing-how-to-get-the-best-fit Hope this helps!

thanks mummy! appreciate your reply ❤

The lactation consultant at Thomson Medical Centre visited me the morning after my delivery to give me a consultation, teach me to latch and measure my nipple size.

Oh that's great! Thanks mummy ☺
