6 month old hard stool

Hi mummies. Really would be helpful if any mummies can share wih me if their 6 months baby ever experience hard stool after eating solids. My baby have been having hard stool and been crying when want to poo. Poo is half way out but she's not pushing. What can i do to help baby?

my son’s first few solid poops was quite alarming. but i made him drink more water and introduced papaya. havent tried prune juice yet. but w papaya he poop easily.
