hi mummy. i have a choice todo higher paying job, but i chose to take an average paying job so i have the time at work to express breastmilk every 4 hourly around the clock. i have ever worked in higher paying job but i was unable to breastfeed my child n i felt guilty. hope this helps. im a happy mummy now
I stay home taking care my lo after being retrenched last June my salary used to be higher than my hubby and I can spend on luxury goods on my boy without looking at the price tag but now I enjoy stay home without income, nothing is precious than seeing them grow.
I will try my best to strike a balance in both, financially might need the higher paying job & the rest of the free hours to spend quality time with my kids
I left job for my boy , even though not much paid .. as I want to see my boy well being fully .. may can start once they can do their work on their own
Average job with More time to spend with kids, the early years are precious and don’t wanna to miss it just bcos want to earn big money.
avg job . child growin up is impt. once missed the chance, thats it. money still can earb back not your child process
being an expat I was surprised by Singapore work culture. In my country we have 6 months maternity leave...
It’s unfortunate that we have to choose between the two! Singapore work culture simply isn’t mother friendly!
agree! 🥲
You can almost have both by choosing the right company (and I agree, there are not that many out there).
Average. I always feel guilty not spending enough time with baby
