6 month old baby taking purée

Hi mummies need some help , my baby just turn 6 mnth , starting to feed him carrot purée but should I give my baby milk first then feed him purée or feed both milk n feed purée or just purée ?? Ftm so not sure how is it like 😅 usually I will feed my baby at night as day time he will be in schl . This 1 mnth schl will not feed the baby first so baby meal will be only after schl
