Latch Issue

Hi, any mummies here managed to breastfeed their baby with a flat/short nipple? I wanted to give direct latching a go but am having difficulty in getting a proper latch🙇🏻‍♀️ my baby is 10 days old and I have been pumping. If any mums out there who managed to breastfeed successfully w flat/short nipples, wld be grateful if you can provide tips and tricks :)
