Is it a must?

Hi mummies. My LO is 6 months and i just started feeding him solid - rice cereal and fruit puree, he is also breastfeeding. Is it a must for him to poop everyday once he starts on solid? Because i see a pattern where he'll poop after 4 days or 3 days. Before he started solid food he also didnt poop until after a couple of days.
