Metabolic screening test and hearing test

Hi Mummies, would like to check if it is necessary to do these test for newborn baby? And anyone have opt to do it, please share your advice too. Thank you 💕#advicepls

I thought these are standard tests for newborns? I was given an option at KKH.. I was informed the nurses would be whisking my boy away for these tests and return him in awhile...
