Contractions

Hi mummies im on week 37 currently, and i might have felt contractions for the first time but im not sure. Does it feel like menses cramps where your abdomen tightens then goes back to normal again? #pleasehelp #firstbaby

Nope that's braxton hicks. Comes and goes for a few seconds and normally will go away when you change your position. Can also be because you're dehydrated so try to drink and see if it goes away. Contraction pain is painful and intense like squeezing everything inside your tummy and you'll feel like pooping or like everything inside is coming out. Also the pain will not go away no matter what you do. You'll also feel pain at your back and your vagina.

Contractions is extremely painful and will make you cry like crazy. The pain worsenn... I delivered my baby without epidural / gas and I was induced. I know exactly how contractions feel like. From what you stated... that's just Braxton Hicks
