Honey during 2nd trimester

Hi all mummies, I’m having throat dry and slight cough in my early 2nd trimester. Should I be taking honey to relieve the cough? Any recommendation? If honey is ok, which brand and type should I go for it? Need advice on this. Thanks everyone.

Hi mama, Yes it’s safe to take honey while you’re pregnant. I’ve been on a subscription for manuka honey you may be interested in. Here’s a link https://www.naturesgoldsingapore.com.sg

I read somewhere raw honey not supposed to take. I think those sold in supermarkets all treated before so should be fine.
