maternity leave

Hi mummies , Im entitled for 16 weeks maternity leave. I started may maternity leave on 1st Dec 2019. I should be back by 1st april 2020 am i right? My company told me that it was incorrectly calculated, and i was informed to be back to work on 22nd March 2020. Please let me know which is correct. TIA ❤

16 weeks is actually about 3 and a half months. 22 March is correct. They don’t actually give us 4 months
