Hey mama, I had similar worries before too. Honestly, newborn jaundice is super common and most cases are mild—usually just need monitoring or phototherapy for a day or two. JB hospitals are quite experienced with this, and if your confinement centre already has a plan to send baby to a nearby hospital if levels are high, that’s actually a good safety net. The most important thing is quick treatment, not so much the location. Unless it gives you more peace of mind to be in SG, I wouldn’t stress too much about switching plans—just check which hospital they’ll send baby to and that you’re comfortable with it.

Mild/moderate jaundice, private hospital in JB is ok. Touch n go at a nearby clinic in jb for jaundice reading usually ok as well. But yes if high, better to do in SG
