I’m assuming advanced gold is more expensive than folate acid. If you don’t mind splurging and have extra to spend, get the advanced gold. Else, for any common preg mum & baby the folate suffice. Try to eat at least 1000mcg though so that’s 2 tablets of folate acid. Science fact - in first 12 weeks, fetus only needs vitamin D and folic acid as the development phase is nervous system and neural tubes. Vitamin D helps in the baby absorption of folic acid. You can get vitamin D from the sun or supplement. All other vitamins does not go to baby. Will just be passed out as waste if you are already eating a balanced meal.

I only bought the folic acid at the pharmacy without those brand type which is around $10 per, advise by the nurse is more than sufficient. for the first trimester taking folic acid is more important for the brain development for the initial weeks.
