Gynae during delivery

Hi mummies, i just read few post here which i didnt know it works this way. For KKH. Does it apply for both subsidized and private patient ? Heard that gynae will only come in once we’re in active labour, or ready to give birth. Other than that, we will only be attended by random nurses. Is this true ? What if we’re almost fully dilated but our gynae still not there ? #FTM

I was at kkh private patient. I was attended by nurses on duty in my induction ward. once my waterbag broke, nurses wheel me to labour room. my gynae came once to check up on me. during my labour, nurses on duty attended to me. another gynae came to check many hours later and just so happen I was alr 9cm. my own gynae then came to deliver my baby.

For subsidy, I had midwife attending to me and on duty doctor. But for my first I had nurses, midwife, doctor with me. For my second I only had nurses and midwife. This apply at two diffrent hospital. First at NUH while Second at KKH.
