They gave me my son after 12 hours so I had to get up to feed him anyway. It is awful pain but the sooner you get up and try to go to toilet and make a few steps, the sooner you will get better. Good luck!

I got down from bed the next evening because I really needed to pee. Took my chance to brush teeth also. But no problem with skipping or using mouthwash instead
