can cereal mix with formula milk?

Hi Mummies, I am first time mummy. Baby turns 6 mths soon. I have just bought the Healthy Times Brown Rice Cereal. Can I mix the cereal with formula milk?eg. One scoop of cereal+1 oz of formula milk?
