High Risk FTS

Question

Hi mummies. I am >35 years old and expecting #3 now. I received some high risk results for Trisomy 13, 18 and 21 in my FTS results. I had already done NIPT so waiting for the results. It is extremely distressing for me as the ratio for Trisomy 18 was 1:18. Anyone has similar experiences to share some insights please?

Oh dear, sending you so much love and hugs right now because I totally understand how scary and stressful this waiting period can be! When I was pregnant I also kena some concerning results and the anxiety of waiting for NIPT results is really no joke, every day feel like so long. Just hang in there first, try not to Google too much because it will make you more anxious, and remember that NIPT is much more accurate than FTS so wait for that result first before worrying too much, and most importantly lean on your husband and close ones for support during this time! 🤍
