Antenatal class to recommend

Hi mummies, FTM here. Just wanted to ask if there is any specific antenatal class that anyone would recommend? Thanks:)

Oh congrats on your pregnancy, FTM journey is so exciting but also a little overwhelming at first! When I was expecting my firstborn, I also had no idea where to start with antenatal classes and just went with whatever my hospital offered, which honestly turned out to be really helpful. KKH and SGH both have their own antenatal programmes that cover labour, birth, and newborn care quite thoroughly, so if you are already delivering at one of those hospitals, it makes sense to just sign up there since everything is aligned with their practices. My neighbour did the Beloved Bumps Central Bumps course taught by a UK-trained midwife and said it was really detailed and reassuring, especially for first-timers who want a more personalised, smaller group setting rather than a big hospital class. Thomson Medical Centre also has their own classes if you are delivering there, so do check with your gynae's clinic as they usually know what fits your timeline best. Some mums love the private courses for the extra depth and community feel, while others find the hospital classes practical enough and more straightforward. Whichever you choose, just go with what feels comfortable for you and your husband, the most important thing is that you both feel ready and supported. You're doing great already just by asking around!
