Hi Mummies, #firsttimemama here who has been diagnosed with #HyperemesisGravidarum at 8 weeks and have already had to get IV treatment at KKH. Thankfully, I’ve a gynae who has been very supportive and have been prescribed medicine.
Wondering if there is an active HG support group in SG? I don’t have many mums in my social circle, and the isolation from being confined to my bed/toilet out of necessity and the constant state of feeling unwell is getting to me a bit. My husband is a gem but has generally had to stay away because the smell of him has become a trigger, and it’s very exhausting having to explain the condition to close family and friends repeatedly.
I know it will pass eventually but am trying to find ways to stay positive for myself and baby through it. Thank you!
