I have it during my first pregnancy, the doc will tell u to control sugar intake & always need to test ur blood before & after food… ( and my meaning of sugar intake is not only sugar , but oso like fruits that are sweet & like rice etc….. ) is v troublesome when u have GD during pregnancy cos u will crave for alot of alot u cant eat due to GD …

Eat more fibre rich food at every meal like veggie! helps to prevent sugar spikes. Usually if u have GD u need to do finger prick for blood sugar monitoring then u can see what causes your sugar to spike. Everyone's body reacts differently. I failed my GD test badly but day to day food intake doesn't affect my sugar much. All the best!

I had GD during pregnancy too and don’t worry too much about it. Just take a balance diet, watch your sugar (and carbs) intake. In fact I feel that having GD helps me eat a healthier diet which is good for my baby. I cut away all the unhealthy cravings.

i had GB during pregnancy i tried as much to control my sugar intake plus walking before and after meals helps a lot.

oh and usually if there is family history or age factor makes it harder to go away.
