Is it safe to have a puppy with a 14 month old?

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and all of them are very gentle with my baby (2 months). We had to separate them most of the time and most of their interactions are highly supervised. Before they had their firat interaction, we had to introduce our baby slowly by letting them smell our baby's used clothes. I believe we were only able to do this because of the all the time we spent training them. Their temperament is also a huge factor. You might want to consider adopting an adult dog with a good temperament instead of getting a puppy. Puppies tend to be very active and you would need to put in a lot of work to train them especially once they enter their dinosaur age.
